A club spokesman said: "Our gratitude goes out to Felixstowe & Walton United who generously donated the prize and proceeds from Saturday’s 50/50 draw to Haydn and have offered to hold a collection for him when the match is replayed later in the season.
"Meanwhile, our players, the coaching staff and club officials are also donating to a fund to assist Haydn.
"At Saturday’s home game vs Brightlingsea Regent, there will be a collection at the ground and we would ask supporters to be as generous as possible as a bucket is passed around."
