Young gymnasts celebrated a year of success at an awards evening and fancy-dress disco.
Over 100 people attended the
North Walsham Sports Centre Gymnastics Club event, raising £270.
Awards were presented to more than 70 children who had passed their proficiency awards 8-1, with some gaining their bronze, silver and gold awards.
Medals were also awarded to gymnasts who competed in the County Grades Competition in March. Paige Yarham won gold on vault for a second time in the 10/11 age group. In the 12+ age group Jossie Maskrey won silver on beam and bronze on bars, and Nicole Powley took bronze on beam and floor.
Head coach Alexis Thurston said it had been a "fantastic evening" showing the level of support for the club, which has over 140 children on its waiting list.
She would love to find enough space on the North Walsham
High School site to run classes full-time.
The club now has four newly qualified coaches: Susan Percy, Michelle Englestone, Dale Bullimore and Sonya Powley.
They join Alice Stackwood, Bethany Harvey, Ellen Ledger, Roxanne Demmen and Alexis.
She said that the club especially wanted to thank Pat Johnson who attended every session as welfare officer and helped with the general running of the organisation.
