Oliver Cromwell makes history at Sheringham level crossing
Thousands of spectators lined the streets and rooftops of Sheringham this afternoon to watch Oliver Cromwell become the first steam engine to travel across the town's level crossing in 46 years.

Tuesday night saw three north Norfolk challengers for Sterry Cup honours in action in crunch Anglian Combination Premier Division games.
And it was good news all round for North Walsham, Cromer and Wroxham Reserves who all secured victories and three vital points on home turf.

A Norfolk folk festival has had to draft in a replacement act following the death of one of its planned acts.
Fred Wedlock, famous for his 1981 chart hit The Oldest Swinger in Town, was due to take part in the Sunday night finale of Cromer's Folk on the Pier weekend.
